Who we are.

Founded in 2008, Anderson Yeats & Associates specialises in intellectual property solutions for the creative and technologies industries. Anderson Yeats serves clients in Africa, Europe and the USA from its offices in the Netherlands and South Africa.

Founders David Anderson and James Yeats identified a need for a proactive and strategic legal resource for start-ups and going concerns in the creative and tech space, and founded Anderson Yeats' flagship initiative,  Legum Creativa ('creative law' in Latin). Legum Creativa, with the assistance of expert consultants, focusses on establishing legally and commercially sound practices for the creation, commercialisation, management and protection of new ideas, ventures, and technologies, typically requiring a wider and more multi-disciplinary offering than that offered by traditional law firms.
